What is a command line prompt? In this preview from MTA Networking Fundamentals one of our networking instructors, Ed Liberman, shows how to get to the command line window (command prompt window), and how you can use various tools in the command line.
For an example, Ed will use the ipconfig command to display information about IP configuration:
- IP Address and MAC Address
- Domain Name IPv6 Information
- Subnet Mask and DHCP
- Default Gateway
